Connect passion with purpose. The Fulton County Board of Health provides a variety of services that help protect residents from health threats, increase access to health services to improve health outcomes and provide information that assists Fulton County citizens in living healthier lives.

The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidates for the position of Mgr 2, Healthcare within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Health Promotion Division.

This is a time-limited grant funded position (through June 2028).

Job Responsibilities

The Manager 2, Healthcare role plans and leads implementation of major components of a federally-funded teen pregnancy prevention program which is complex and has several grant expectations (e.g., sexual health education in schools, clinics, and community settings; parent, youth and community engagement; clinical quality improvement initiatives, supportive services).

This position will require direct supervision of a team of health educators and consultants for the delivery of sexual health education in schools and community settings; develop collaborative partnerships with community organizations, parents and students.

Provide oversight for grant deliverables, ensure programs are delivered with fidelity, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health care services or related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional managerial or supervisory experience in health care services; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Mgr, Hlth Care (HCM010) or position equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years experience managing public health programs; experience in sexual/reproductive health a plus.
  • Five years of recent experience supervising teams/subordinate staff.
  • Three years experience in adolescent health programming, including implementation of evidence-based programs.
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborative relationships with schools and community-based or youth-serving organizations.
